On March 20, 2025, RDML Joshua Lasky, Deputy Director of Joint Interagency Task Force South spoke in Fort Lauderdale at the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Stone offload which consisted of more than 45,000 pounds of illegal drugs valued at a more than $517 million. In conjunction with US and international partners, Joint Interagency Task Force South facilitates interdiction and apprehension of illicit traffickers to reduce the flow of drugs and degrade and dismantle transnational criminal organizations. Working as a multi-agency, multi-national partnership to strengthen national security and ensure safety.
